Mice 16/24g PACK of 100 pieces
- Frozen mice 16/24g PACK of 100 pieces
Package: 100 pieces
Weight per piece: 16/24g
Frozen mice in size L (16/24g) are a versatile food source for numerous carnivorous animals. Thanks to their size, these mice are the best feeder prey for snakes, lizards, and larger predators such as cats, dogs (as whole prey), or birds of prey. This size of mice is a very popular choice in our feeder prey store, which is why we also offer them in a large 100-piece package. This is a cost-effective option for those who need larger quantities of frozen rodents – the initial price is 20% lower than the smaller 10-piece L mouse package, with additional discounts applied in the cart for larger purchases.
For which animals are frozen mice 16/24g intended?
Frozen mice L (16/24) are an excellent food source for various animals, including:
- Medium-sized snakes, such as adult corn snakes or young royal pythons and boas,
- Larger lizard species, such as monitors and tegus,
- Young alligators and caimans,
- Cats, dogs, and ferrets, as part of a healthy whole prey diet,
- Birds of prey, including owls, eagles, and hawks.
Why choose a 100-piece package?
Although we also offer smaller sets of frozen mice 16/24g, we generally recommend purchasing larger packages. Our products are packaged in a way that makes them easy and hygienic to store – in resealable zip-lock bags, allowing individual pieces to be easily removed. Purchasing a larger package of mice saves on both the price and shipping costs. It’s also worth noting additional discounts applied in the cart for larger orders. Bulk purchases are the best solution for owners of multiple animals, including breeders, who want to ensure their animals have regular access to high-quality feeder prey at an attractive price.
How are our products packaged?
Frozen mice from Raw PetFood are packaged in zip-lock bags, allowing convenient storage and easy removal of individual pieces as needed. The mice are not stuck together. The use of thermal packaging and dry ice ensures safe transport of shipments directly to our customers – we work with couriers who are experienced in handling such products.
How to feed with frozen mice?
Feeding with frozen mice supports the natural hunting behaviors of animals while eliminating the risk of injuries that live feeder prey may cause. To maximize the nutritional value of the food, frozen mice should be stored in the freezer. Before feeding, the appropriate amount of rodents should be thawed in the refrigerator or warm water. Never heat them in a microwave or oven.
