At Raw PetFood store, we understand that preparing the right diet for a cat or dog with food allergies or a sensitive stomach is a significant challenge, which is why our offer includes products that provide various sources of protein. The KB MIX Duck product is another item in our store with meat for dogs and cats, which will help our customers in composing an appropriate diet for dogs and cats with allergies.

Dog Meat: Duck. Composition

KB MIX Duck in a 1 kilogram package consists exclusively of duck, with no additives. The composition includes: 35% duck backs, 20% necks, 20% hearts, 20% meat, and 5% liver.

Frozen meat with such a composition provides a convenient basis for building a diet for both dogs and cats. Ground frozen meat with bone is suitable for BARF for cats and RAW for dogs, making a tasty and healthy food. The presence of ground backs and necks in the mix means that the product can partially or wholly replace bones in animal diets, and duck meat is a favorite treat among our four-legged friends.

Duck Meat for Dogs and Cats with Allergies

KB Mix is optimal meat for dogs and cats, meeting the nutritional requirements of animals regardless of their size or age. The inclusion of different parts of the duck in convenient proportions ensures ease of balancing the diet, allowing for the composition of healthy raw food. Whether you have a dog, a cat, or both, KB MIX ground duck meat with bone will help provide them with essential nutrients, protein, and energy.

Why is KB MIX Suitable for Animals with Allergies?

According to research, duck meat rarely causes allergic reactions. In one study, 297 cases of allergy occurrence in dogs were analyzed:

Among cats living in Australia, Europe, and North America, the most common causes of allergic reactions in dogs were: beef, dairy, chicken, grains, and lamb. (...) In cats, the most common allergens were: beef, fish, and chicken.1

According to the research results, duck was not among the meats for dogs (and cats) carrying the greatest risk of allergic reactions. Additionally, the natural and unprocessed form of duck meat with bone offered in the product makes it an easily digestible component of food for dogs and cats.

The Power of Variety in Dog and Cat Diets

The various parts of the duck in the mix provide a wealth of nutrients, allowing for the composition of a healthy diet based on meat with bone (e.g., BARF / RAW food).

The presence of bones and offal provides important micronutrients, such as calcium and phosphorus, supporting dental and bone health as well as proper body function. The organs included in the product, besides duck meat, are rich in vitamins and minerals that support the immune system and overall animal health.
