I. ORDER PACKING

1. COURIER DELIVERIES

Orders delivered via courier services are packed in thermal insulation packaging and filled with dry ice. Dry ice sublimates during transport, changing from solid to gas. This significantly lowers the temperature during transport, ensuring the order arrives frozen.

Usually, when unpacking the package, there is no dry ice left, but this does not mean it was not there. It was there and perfectly performed its task if your order arrived frozen.

The aforementioned issues affect the cost of our shipments - which are higher than for "ordinary" products.


2. STORE DELIVERY - WITH OUR FREEZER TRUCK


Orders delivered using our freezer truck transport are delivered without thermal insulation packaging and without dry ice. Products are packed in cardboard boxes.
Transport occurs at a controlled temperature of -18C.

Price includes: GLS STANDARD courier service + THERMAL INSULATION PACKAGING + 1 to 1.5 kg of dry ice.

1.3 GENERAL TERMS:

      1. We ship orders on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday — provided that each of these days is followed by two working days.
      2. The courier delivers parcels in 99.9% of cases on the next day after dispatch. It may happen that the order will be delivered after two days — hence it is important that after the shipping day there are two working days. Otherwise, the package will end up at the sorting center for a few days and will not be usable.

        Please pay attention to public holidays and non-working days when placing orders.

        Example: Monday 7.11 — we ship, because 8.11 (Tuesday) is a working day and 9.11 (Wednesday) is also a working day.

        9.11 (Wednesday) — we do not ship, because: 10.11 (Thursday) is a working day, but 11.11 (Friday) is a day off! — if the courier does not deliver the package the next day from dispatch — i.e., on Thursday 10.11 — the order will lie at the sorting center for the next few days and will definitely not be usable anymore.
      3. We assure that 99.9% of orders are delivered the next day after dispatch, often in less than 24h. However, to avoid situations where a package with frozen products lies at the sorting center for several days because it was not delivered the next day for some reason, we apply the “two working days after dispatch” rule.
      4. Orders placed on Wednesday after 9:00 AM, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday — are usually shipped on Monday and Tuesday.

        Orders placed on Monday after 9:00 AM, Tuesday, and Wednesday until 9:00 AM — are shipped on Wednesday.
      5. The GLS courier is not obliged to call the recipient.
      6. In the order details, you will find the tracking number with which you can track the package. The estimated delivery time of the package will also be visible.
      7. It is also not possible to order delivery by courier at a specific time. Unfortunately, we are unable to consider notes such as: please deliver after 3 PM.
      8. If the courier does not find anyone at the specified address — they will attempt to deliver the next day or leave it at a GLS pickup point — by accepting the SHIPPING RULES of raw-petfood.pl you will be obliged to pick up the order in such a case.
      9. The best option in case of absence is to ship to a GLS ParcelShop (pickup point). Practically every address in PL has such a point nearby, open from morning to evening. You can find the list of available points here: https://gls-group.com/PL/pl/oddzialy-punkty-parcelshop/

        If you intend to pick up the package after 48h from the ParcelShop — we encourage you to buy additional dry ice (link to dry ice in our store can be added here).


2. CAR DELIVERY


There is a possibility to deliver large orders with our transport at a controlled temperature of -18C. Pricing and timing are determined individually after prior contact.

    1. We ONLY ship orders on Mondays and Tuesdays, provided that in Germany and Poland there are three working days after dispatch.

      This is very important to ensure that sorting centers operate correctly and there are no delays in the delivery of frozen pet food. When placing an order, please consider holidays and non-working days.
    2. The courier delivers the package two days after shipping in 99.9% of cases, usually on Wednesdays.
    3. We guarantee that 99.9% of orders will be delivered two days after shipping.
    4. We only ship orders that have been paid for or for which we have received a bank confirmation.
    5. The GLS courier company is not obliged to call the recipient.
    6. In the order details, you will find a tracking number, with which you can track the shipment. The estimated time of delivery is also displayed.
    7. There is also no option to order delivery at a specific time. Requests such as: Please deliver after 3:00 PM will not be considered.
    8. If the courier does not find anyone at the specified address, they will attempt to deliver the next day or leave the package at a GLS pickup point. According to the SHIPPING POLICY of raw-petfood.pl, you are obliged to pick up the order in such a case.
    9. DELIVERY TIME: 1-2 WORKING DAYS
      Price includes: GLS STANDARD courier service + THERMAL INSULATION PACKAGING + 2 to 3 kg of dry ice.

      Due to the usual 2-day delivery time, we encourage ordering large volume and weight products, which stay deeply frozen for a longer time, such as for example: 2X 10kg DAY-OLD CHICKS BOX. Such a package maintains a low temperature very well even when it travels for 2-3 days.

      FOR ORDERS LIKE: small quantities of products, small mice, quails, or rats — we encourage you to buy additional dry ice.
