The quails are euthanized using a CO2 method, which is compliant with current regulations and recognized as more humane for animals. After slaughtering, the quails are cooled and frozen in a way that allows for the removal of individual pieces from the package, optimizing freezer space utilization and ensuring long-lasting freshness.
