We encourage you to purchase frozen mice weighing between 7 and 10 grams. These are rodents in an intermediate developmental stage, available in packs of 25 pieces. They are a deep-frozen product and belong to the smaller mouse sizes available in our feeder animal store.

7/10g mice, just like the other rodents offered in our feeder animal store, are a top-quality food for various species of reptiles, amphibians, and other predators kept in private homes and zoological gardens. Rodents at this stage of development are an excellent source of high-value protein, fats, vitamins and minerals.

How to feed frozen 7/10g mice?

Frozen mice weighing 7–10g are a suitable food source for many popular animal species, including:

• small snakes,
• some monitor lizards and other lizards,
• cats and dogs (as a whole prey diet),
• birds of prey,
• hedgehogs and ferrets.

Before feeding frozen mice to your animal, we recommend thawing the product. We recommend thawing by leaving the mice in the refrigerator, or by immersing them in warm (not hot) water until fully thawed. We do not recommend cooking or heating the food in a microwave or oven. Thawed 7-10g mice can be served whole or divided into smaller pieces.
