KB MIX Game Meat for Dogs and Cats — Wild Goose 1 kg is a frozen food intended for preparing raw BARF diets for cats and RAW diets for dogs. Thanks to the inclusion of the entire goose carcass (along with all the organs), this product is also ideal as a ground whole prey meal for cats and dogs. The product was created to provide pets with nutritious food that fully meets their natural dietary needs.

Game Meat and Meat in Dog Diets

Dogs, known for centuries as man's best friend, are naturally carnivorous, as numerous studies show. Their digestive system is adapted to digest raw meat, and their teeth and jaws are designed to tear meat and crush bones. Dogs have a short digestive tract and a high level of hydrochloric acid in the stomach, which facilitates meat digestion and eliminates bacteria.

Dogs and wolves are officially recognized as the same species: canis lupus. Their digestive systems are identical - exceptionally designed to digest the whole prey - including bones and other parts.1

Their stomach environment is acidic (pH1) - capable of dissolving raw meat and bones.1

Anatomically, their teeth and jaws are built to pierce and tear (skin/meat) and crush/shear (bones). As prey trackers, their eyes are set at the front of the skull (typical for carnivores) rather than on the sides (like their herbivorous prey).1

Health Benefits of a Raw Meat-Based Diet

A raw meat-based diet provides the dog with all the essential nutrients, such as proteins, fats, vitamins, and minerals, which are easily absorbed. These high-quality proteins and fats positively affect the quality of the dog's coat, and the natural enzymes and probiotic bacteria in raw meat support a healthy immune system in animals.

How to Safely Introduce Raw Meat into a Dog's Diet

Properly introducing meat into a dog's diet starts with choosing the source of the components of such a diet. It is best to choose meat from trusted suppliers who meet the veterinary requirements set for pet food producers. Buying frozen meat for dogs is beneficial due to the convenience and guarantee of product freshness.

It is best to serve meat to the dog raw. It is important to remember that it is not recommended to cook meat for dogs that contains ground bones or their fragments. When preparing a meal from raw meat, standard hygiene rules should be followed.

Deeply frozen product

Before serving wild goose products, make sure they do not contain lead or metal residues. To prepare the appropriate portion, cut off the piece of the product you want to defrost. Store the rest in a tightly closed ziplock bag in the freezer.
